The Loch Equine
Thoroughbred Excellence

Traditional & Authentic
Family Built Equine
The Loch Equine is a boutique Thoroughbred broodmare stud located in the rolling hills of the quintessential Southern Highlands town, Berrima NSW on 750 arable acres. Owner and breeder Brigid Kennedy has been passionately committed to Thoroughbred breeding and racing all her life, having been raised in a grass-roots New Zealand TB breeding and racing family, with a 120-year legacy.
The Loch Equine’s progeny run under Brigid’s family colours, which have been registered since 1899. The Loch Equine breeds their six stakes broodmares each year, selling yearlings annually through the Inglis Thoroughbred Yearling Sales and racing 7-9 city-class racehorses. The Loch Equine also works with five NSW trainers with our horses racing in Metropolitan, Provincial and Country races. Throughout all our operations at The Loch Equine, everything we do stems back to “the love of the horse”, we take great pride in the welfare and management of our small but quality team. This is the legacy of The Loch Equine.
